These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sudburynews at sudbury.townbrief.com (the "Service"), published by TownBrief ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Service or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Sudburynews provides local government, civic, and community news for Sudbury, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities, offered through free and paid subscription tiers.
Accounts and subscriptions
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account.
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable, and access continues through the end of the paid period.
- Prices and tier features may change; we will give notice of material changes as required.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, scrape or redistribute content at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes.
Content and intellectual property
Articles, newsletters, and other materials on the Service are owned by TownBrief or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share links freely, but you may not republish or redistribute our content in bulk without permission.
Disclaimers
The Service and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. While we work to be accurate and timely, we do not guarantee that all content is error-free or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TownBrief will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
